Best Clothes Brush

There are several types of clothes brushes available in the market. This is attributable to the different designs and materials from which a clothes brush is made. However, it should be mentioned that care should be taken when selecting a clothing brush for your garments.

Whilst a clothes brush is an accessory that will definitely allow you get the best out of your clothes, selecting the wrong type of brush can actually achieve the contrary. I’ve experienced this before, so I think I can be considered as authoritative in this matter. The first time I decided to get a clothes brush for my shirts, I was rather inexperienced and it cost me. I “lost” some of my favorite shirts to this inexperience. It was with the benefit of hindsight that I realized what went wrong: I got the wrong type of clothes brush!

See, I didn’t really think the type of brush I purchased matter, so I just went to the neighborhood general store, told the attendant that I wanted a clothes brush, and voila, made my purchase. Since I didn’t know that I couldn’t just use any type of brush for any kind of shirt, it was no wonder that I had a rather unpleasant experience. If I can remember accurately, I must have damaged like four or five shirts before I got wiser. Since then, I’ve learnt my lesson and I can’t make that kind of mistake again. I wouldn’t want you to go through a similar experience. This is why I want to guide you on how to select the right clothes brush.

The most important feature of a clothing brush is the brush bristles right? So they are the features that you really need to watch out for whenever you are making a purchase. Usually, the brush bristles can be made from two types of materials: natural and artificial. The best types of bristles are the natural ones. They are milder on clothes and are less likely to cause damage to your clothes, especially the fragile ones. An example of natural bristles is a clothes brush made from boar bristles or horse hair bristles.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that artificial bristles are ruled out. There are good artificial bristled clothes brushes. The important thing is to examine the brush thoroughly, paying attention to the bristles before deciding to make any purchase.

Wondering how to get rid of spot marks on your clothes? Want your clothes to look new and freshly laundered all the time? A clothes brush is the answer to all your prayers! It is a small and handy grooming tool you can take anywhere. So small that it fits in your pocket or a small ladies purse, this is a travel must have to keep you looking dazzling. You’ll never have to dust yourself frantically again if you keep a brush with you all the time. All you have to do is go to the rest room and give yourself a nice brushing with a brush exclusively designed for this purpose.

From the time you actually put on your clothes to the time you reach that party you have to attend many things could go wrong. You could get caught in the rain and those little splashes of mud are definitely going to get you. Even dry dust or crushed leaves and flowers can attach themselves to your clothes such a way you just can’t seem to sweep them off! This is when the use of clothes brush comes to play. It’s like an extension of your own hand, except that it has tiny bristles that latch on to the dust particles and is more effective than merely straining to pull things off with your bare hands.

The original thing used to keep your garments clean before the invention of the lint roller, the clothes brush is still held superior by a lot of people. While a lint roller will not last for a lifetime as the adhesive tape needs to be replaced, there is no such problem with a clothes brush. Made of solid wood, these bushes usually last a very long time. Although some of the cheap ones are also made of plastic, a good clothes brush is made of cherry or pine or some other good quality wood.

Apart from the wood quality and type, you can even choose the type of hair or bristles you want. A stiff brush is generally used for trouser ends while a brush with softer bristles can be used on cashmere or silken garments. The bristles can be either natural or synthetic and this affects the price of the brush. A mahogany wooden finish clothes brush with natural hair can cost you more than $ 30 while an unfinished wood handled brush with synthetic bristles should be priced under $ 15.
